Football Star Aaron Ramsey Increases Reward for Missing Canine in Mexico to Fifteen Thousand Pounds
Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has boosted the incentive for details concerning his vanished dog named Halo to £15,000.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now is with Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
The beagle, who disappeared on 9 October, was wearing a GPS collar, and Ramsey posted a exact coordinates of where she was last seen.
"Any updates regarding our beloved Halo please get in touch with us. Significant bounty for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is safe and will return with us quickly," the athlete wrote on Instagram.
Initial Bounty and Heartfelt Pleas
The footballer initially announced that Halo had gone missing 14 days prior and has subsequently shared numerous pictures of the adored dog on Instagram.
A $10,000 reward was originally offered, but with no news on Halo's whereabouts after a seven days, the player and his loved ones doubled the reward.
"Our only wish is our girl returned," he said in another appeal on his online platforms after the 10-year-old dog was lost.
The latest image share is a grayscale photo of the beagle sleeping, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the message: "What I'd do to cuddle you once more Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
Ramsey has also posted a message from his spouse Colleen on online channels mentioning they have a few "important queries" regarding the event and are concerned the family "may never obtain answers".
"We have yet to have not located Halo. I don't think we will ever," his wife's update stated.
The Welsh captain joined Mexico's top-flight team Pumas UNAM earlier this year and had his debut in the Mexican league in August.
